Tasked with designing a welcoming space, this collaborative assignment focused around creative a warm and energetic ambiance in a preexisting space. 

 

The Client.

 

Existing office space: 12’ x 16’

The new dental practice is looking to redesign their existing lobby to make it more welcoming. The necessities and wants within the space include.

• Practical traffic patterns

• Separate Receptionist space

• Comfortable Seating

• Unique Focal Points

 

 

Besides being a commercial establishment, the main purpose of our space was to create a comfortable transitional period that doesn’t have its occupants constantly staring at the clock.

 

In order to keep the space interesting, we included focal points in several different areas within the room. We found that this not only peaks occupants interest as they enter but maintains it as they spend time in the space.
